Kylie's Koru
Today in our online class we were making a Koru. Kylie's mum helped Kylie make a Koru for Maori Language Week. Here is Kylie's Koru.

Amy designed a Koru at home and she is wearing it as a necklace. Amy used the colour green and red because they are her favourite colours. She is very proud of her creation.

This term we have been learning about the Sun. The children knew so much information about the sun. Here is a collection of what Room 5 knows about the sun.
We have been learning about different types of shapes. We can sort the shapes into different categories such as squares, triangles, circles, rectangles and diamonds.
We had our first assembly on Friday the 21st of May. All the students were very confident in singing the Maori Welcome song Tena Koe Hello To One.... The speakers were Pele, Isadora, Tamara, Taina and Kylie.
