Learning about the Sun

This term we have been learning about the Sun. The children knew so much information about the sun.  Here is a collection of what Room 5 knows about the sun.

Learning about different types of Shapes

 We have been learning about different types of shapes. We can sort the shapes into different categories such as squares, triangles, circles, rectangles and diamonds.

Room 5 Assembly

 We had our first assembly on Friday the 21st of May.  All the students were very confident in singing the Maori Welcome song Tena Koe Hello To One.... The speakers were Pele, Isadora, Tamara, Taina and Kylie.

 

Gymnastics - Bridge Position

Girls in Room 5 love gymnastics. In this photo, Taina and Tamara are doing are bridge pose which they are really good at.

Working as a Team and Showing Respect to Each Other

We work as a team and help each other in our class. This helps us learn from each other, be good friends and show respect to each other.
