The Solar System by Alilia

The solar system is sometimes called the milky way. It has a lot of planets. Some planets are called dwarf planets because they are not real planets such as pluto, comets and meteorites. There are eight planets in the solar system, one of them is called Saturn.Saturn is the sixth planet away from the sun. Saturn is the second biggest planet. Jupiter is the 5th planet away from the sun. Jupiter is the largest planet in the milky way. Mars can also be called the red planet. Mars is a cold dessert. It is the second smallest planet. That is all today about the solar system but there are more to discover. Here is a picture of all of them.

  1. Great job Alilia...did you know that there is an easy way to remember the order of the planets (inc Pluto) "My Very Educated Mother Just Served Us Nine Pizzas" or without Pluto is "My Very Educated Mother Just Served Us Noodles." They are called mnemonic's.

  2. Kia Ora Room 4,

I really like that you said Pluto is not a planet anymore because it really gets the a attention of people that thinks that Pluto is still a planet. Did you that Pluto is not a planet anymore because it is getting smaller and smaller until its just a very small sphere ball. Maybe next time you could add links to where you found the facts because it really extends your post. Did you already know that Jupiter, Neptune and Uranus also has rings and not just Saturn.

Thank you for your time, I hope you had fun making this and have a great day.
